The Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies is pleased to announce the participation of its Director, Dr. Ghassan Elkahlout, at the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, convened under the theme of "Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties". The Forum took place on 17-19 April 2026, in Antalya, Türkiye.
First day's opening brought together HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan, and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, alongside over 20 heads of state, nearly 50 foreign ministers, and representatives from more than 150 countries.
Second day's sessions span the full breadth of what the international system is contending with: regional conflicts, multilateral fragmentation, energy security, technological disruption — over 40 sessions addressing these deeply interconnected challenges.
The conversations unfolding at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum carry direct relevance for the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, preparing for the third Qatar Mediation Forum this December. The questions being raised about the future of diplomacy and multilateral cooperation are precisely those the center hope to take forward in Doha.
