On 30 January 2023, the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS) and the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership (CHL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The four-year MoU sets out the framework for the cooperative relationship between CHS and CHL. The agreement was signed by Dr Ghassan Elkahlout, Director of the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS), and Dr. Josh Hallwright, Acting Director of Centre for Humanitarian Leadership (CHL).
This agreement commits to enhance collaboration and promote policy development, research, and innovation for the humanitarian sector. It also calls for joint research grant applications on areas of mutual research interest, including the exploration of co-authored research publications and co-hosting specific workshops and events. Furthermore, this agreement will open an opportunity for visiting research scholar exchanges between both parties.
