H.E. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad was appointed Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2024. Before that, Her Excellency was appointed Minister of Social Development and Family in 2021. Throughout her career, she has held various prominent positions, including Executive Director of the Administrative and Financial Sector at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Executive Director of the Orphan Care Center (Dreama). Her Excellency has also served as Executive Director of the Center for Protection and Rehabilitation from Violence Against Women and Children (AMAN), Regional Director of Communication and Awareness Campaigns at the Education Above All Foundation, Director of the Media and Communication Department at the Social Rehabilitation Center (Al-Aween), and Executive Director of Childhood Cultural Center. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and English Literature from Qatar University, as well as an Executive Master's degree in Strategic Planning and Business Administration from HEC Paris.

H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi was appointed Minister of State of 2023. Mandated to lead the mediation; besides, dispute conflict resolutions. Prior to that, His Excellency was appointed Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs of 2022. Before joining the Ministry, Dr. Al-Khulaifi held the position of the Dean of College of Law at Qatar University. He received his bachelor's degree in law from Qatar University. He also obtained a master's and PhD degrees in law from the University of California Berkeley, USA. He has authored and published a number of articles and research papers in the field of law. Dr. Al-Khulaifi has joined several State councils and committees, including the Board of Directors of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, the Board of Directors of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, the Board of Directors of Doha's International Center for Interfaith Dialogue, the Permanent Committee on the international Law of the Sea in the Ministry and, the Permanent Committee on Legislative Affairs at the Council of Ministers. Dr. Al-khulaifi served as a legal advisor to His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar in 2018, and Agent of the State of Qatar before the International Court of Justice in The Hague in 2018. He also served as a lawyer before the Qatari Court of Cassation, and an adjudicator at the Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority in 2017.
