The Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS), in collaboration with the office of the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign, and in partnership with the Save the Children International (SCI), is organising an invite-only, closed practitioner workshop titled: "Children at the Center: Leveraging Humanitarian Diplomacy to Expand Access to Assistance and Services for Children," on Monday, 7 September 2026, in Doha, Qatar.

The workshop will bring together senior policymakers, diplomats, humanitarian leaders, mediators, legal experts, practitioners and academics to examine practical approaches to advancing child-sensitives humanitarian access in situations of conflict and crisis. Building on Save the Children's Aid Memoire on Child-Sensitive Humanitarian Access, the discussion will explore practical pathways for strengthening humanitarian access through humanitarian diplomacy and mediation.

It will also serve as a platform to initiate dialogue on the development of a Child-Sensitive Humanitarian Access Framework.
