The Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies is organizing a webinar entitled “Charting Gaza's Long-term Future: Beyond the Trump and Blair Plans". It will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025, from 2pm to 4pm (Doha time).

This online panel discussion is the inaugural event of the three-year research project on “Rethinking the “Day After": Post-war Reconstruction in the Gaza Strip". This discussion will critically analyze the multiple frameworks emerging to shape Gaza's post-war trajectory—particularly the Trump 20-point plan and the Blair Plan (GITA) as the leading political proposals with significant implications for security, governance, and reconstruction.

The panel will bring together scholars and policy experts to examine these competing frameworks, their underlying assumptions, and their potential impacts on Palestinian self-determination and pathways to sustainable peace. It aims to assess both prominent plans and alternative approaches, contributing to rigorous and independent analysis to inform policy debates on Gaza's future.
