The Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS) and the Turkish Embassy in Doha are co-organizing a conversation with H.E. Dr Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT). The event will be held on Wednesday 19 January 2022 at 17:00 Doha Time at the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, Main Auditorium in the Cultural Foundation Building, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

Professor Sultan Barakat, Director of CHS, will chair the session. The distinguished speaker will speak about Turkey's aspirations as a rising regional power, with a close focus on Turkey's foreign policy in the Arab world, including friendships, alliances, and collaborations, particularly with Gulf countries.

This event is based on the Center's Contextualization, Participation, and Collaboration principles, which promote dialogue while also providing decision-makers with practical solutions, policy-relevant information, and analysis on a variety of global issues. The CHS has a track record of working closely with key parties involved in humanitarian action and peacebuilding efforts to promote multi-track discussions, mutual learning, and understanding.

The conversation will be available to watch in English on our TwitterFacebook, and YouTube.
