The Terms of Use are considered as a general agreement that governs the controls of interaction between the user and the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies website (http://www.chs-doha.org), and it applies to all services provided by the center website to the user.
Agreement Acceptance: The user must commit to all conditions in this agreement to ensure the use of the service. The continuity of the service utility is considered as an acceptance to the terms of use.
Copy Rights: The content, organization, design, compilation, translation, and all other materials related to the Center are protected by copyright, trademark, and other property rights laws in effect. The user is not entitled to copy, publish or distribute any material published on the center's website and attributed to the site without mentioning its source, and it is not permissible to amend, alter or quote the material on this site to create new work or use it for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use. The institute reserves all legal rights to prosecute those who violate this requirement, in accordance with intellectual property laws.
Use and citation right: Viewing, printing, or downloading any content, chart or sample from the Center can be used with a limited and exclusive license for personal and fair use. The user is committed to cite and/or use research materials and studies published on the site. The user is also obligated to indicate its source in accordance with approved academic norms.
Center Services: Neither the Center nor any person involved in preparing, producing, or distributing any material in the Center shall bear any responsibility for any direct or indirect material or moral damage arising from the use of this site, or from the inability to use it, or from Any error, omission, or defect in it, or the incorrectness of the information it provides, or any delay or interruption in its transmission.
Republishing: A researcher who presented a research paper at one of the Center's conferences, which was published with the Center is not allowed to republish it, except with prior written permission from the Center's management. In case of approval, they are required to indicate that this research was submitted to the Center's conference.
General provisions: These conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and its courts have exclusive authority to hear disputes arising.
