Yasmeen Kalla is a junior research assistant at the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS). Yasmeen graduated in December 2020 from Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics and minoring in Arabic. During her time at GU-Q, she gained exposure to a variety of fields through her internships at White & Case LLP, Al-Jazeera Media Network, and Grey Global. Yasmeen is interested in the conduct of US foreign policy in the Middle East, and how their interactions determine the outcomes of policy, trade, finance, and development in the region.
