Dr. Tariq Dana is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Conflict Management and Humanitarian Action program at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, Qatar. He was the Director of the Center for Development Studies at Birzeit University and a senior research fellow at Ibrahim Abu-Logoud Institute of International Studies, the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and the School of Oriental and African Studies. He is also a policy advisor for the Palestinian Policy Network (Al-Shabaka).
