Biography

Mazar Rahim Saleh was born in 1976, he got his BA, MA and Ph.D. in Hadith and its sciences, Islamic studies and comparative religion from the International Islamic University Islamabad. He holds several certificates in Arabic and English languages. He was a visiting professor at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, 2011 and an assistant professor at Al Qasimia University for Islamic Studies. He was the Head of the Department of Hadith at the same University for three years, 2008-2011, in Akora Khattak-Peshawer.

Saleh remained lecture professor for many years. He also supervised academic theses from the Afghan University of Kabul. He is member of the Authoring, Translation and Revision Committee at the Afghan Educational Foundation, Kabul. Dr. Salih is fluent in Arabic, English, Urdu, Persian and Pashto. He Participated in several conferences around the world. He also wrote number of books in Hadith and its sciences, Islamic studies, Seerah and the history of Afghanistan.

Moreover, Saleh has published many articles in Arab magazines and has a number of studies under publication soon. He is now a visiting research fellow at the Centre for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies.
