Biography

​Maya El Jundi is a Research Assistant at the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, specialized in producing research related to conflict and humanitarian work. Possesses leadership experience in international humanitarian organizations in Lebanon, including Solidarités International (working with Syrian refugees), T.E.R.R.E Liban, Mennonite Central Committee (in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq), and International Alert in the field of peacebuilding. Contributed to research projects at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and the International Center for Transitional Justice. Additionally, provided support to Rohingya refugees with the Qatar Red Crescent in Bangladesh. Committed to addressing complex humanitarian challenges. Holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health with a minor in Public Health from the American University of Beirut and a master's degree in Conflict Management and Humanitarian Action from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.
