​Ian Davis is the Executive Editor of the SIPRI Yearbook and Associate Senior Fellow within the Armament and Disarmament research area. From  2014 to  2016, he was Director of the SIPRI Editorial, Publications and Library Department, where he was responsible for supervising SIPRI's team of editors and managing the departmental budget and workflow. Prior to joining SIPRI, he held several senior positions and worked as an independent human security and arms-control consultant. He has a long record of research on international and regional security issues and blogs on NATO-related issues. ​​
