After long negotiations, the United Nations and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent succeeded in agreeing upon needed methods and guaranteesm for a joint humanitarian aid convoy assisting some fifty thousand people in Rukban camp, with a convoy of 78 trucks carrying food, medicine and basic needs to the population living in the mud or cloth shelters that were randomly established in late 2015, in the al-Tanf region bordering Iraq, Jordan and Syria.
