Megan is an Associate at Build Up based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has a decade of experience designing and implementing complex peacebuilding and governance programs around the world in collaboration with civil society organisations, government, and international partners. She has specific expertise in participatory methodologies, digital peacebuilding, and applied behavioral science. At Build Up, Megan manages programming on peacebuilding and inclusive politics leveraging digital technologies. Recently she has implemented digital consultations in Sudan; conducted research on best practices in analysis and mitigation of digital harms in conflict; and, led participatory action research in reconciliation processes in the Somali region. She is passionate about innovation in the field of peacebuilding - in the tools we use, the programs we design and implement, and how we work as a community. Prior to joining Build Up, Megan was Global Director for Project Operations at the Busara Center. She holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an MA in International Security from Sciences Po, Paris.​
