The Afghanistan Research and Policy Initiative (ARPI) is a CHS project that aims at strengthening evidence-based research and policy recommendations on Afghanistan and its region. By delivering strategic thinking and fostering dialogue, among other components, the project amplifies perspectives that support actionable steps to achieve comprehensive peace and stability. In addition, it contributes to weaving modalities that bridge global South-North knowledge and expertise. The ARPI is designed to significantly broaden the scope of our efforts and delve deeply into critical issues that require nuanced understanding, further academic exploration, and incisive policy attention. ARPI represents the Center's efforts to foster a comprehensive understanding of Afghanistan's complexities as the country and the regions it connects are faced with a labyrinth of challenges, demanding innovative and evidence-based solutions.
