This three-year research project, Strategic Analysis of Conflict and Fragility, will produce a range of discrete analyses of conflict contexts and advance fundamental understanding of conflict analysis. It does so by developing an innovative conflict analysis methodology and conducts its iterative application to contemporary conflicts including but not limited to Sudan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Somalia, and the Sahel. The project also has a strong practice-oriented dimension with the aim of utilizing an action approach to develop and refine a bespoke tool for conflict analysis designed to reflect the requirements of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
